The Inner Foundation invests in Allbry with the aim to revolutionize student health services
2023/01/23
Allbry is a very strategic investment for the Inner Foundation, addressing the need of increased access to a quality support system for all students - including those at universities and vocational schools.
In the past few years, anxiety, stress, and depression has skyrocketed among students and young adults in Sweden. At the same time, these students’ first line of contact for these issues—elevhälsan, or their school’s student health service—does not have the capacity to meet every student’s needs when they need it.
“There’s a clear need to digitalize the student health process and offer a support system built on the students’ and the schools' terms, and that’s exactly what Allbry offers,” says Caroline Stiernstedt Sahlborn, Partner at The Inner Foundation.
“Allbry assists schools to detect and prevent mental health issues by lowering the threshold for contact, facilitate new ways of working and offer a complete system for aiding schools in their mission to foster happy and knowledgeable students. Now, with investors such as The Inner Foundation and Bling Capital, we are ready to take the next steps to revolutionize student health services,” says Cem Celepli Atci, Founder and CEO of Allbry.
Caroline continues: “We are here to increase the funding for innovative mental health solutions for emerging adults. With Allbry comes a perfect match. A strong support system at school can make all the difference when it comes to a person’s inner health, not only in adolescence but also throughout one’s life. With Cem and the founding team’s strong commitment, our hope is to offer this not only to Swedish schools, but also beyond. Every school should be able to offer access to mental health service when the students need it.”
Mental health is the number one health issue for young people aged 12-25. Allbry is a digital tool and online service designed to optimize all aspects of student health care. Their features include, among other things, an array of GDPR-secure communication methods between student health staff and students such as chat rooms, video calls, and audio calls — whatever suits the student best. On top of that, Allbry also provides the schools with a visual overview of the students’ well-being, mapped out intuitively so that the health team can easily see where their inputs are needed the most.

About Allbry
Allbry is a service for schools to work efficiently with their students’ health. The student is in focus and school staff, as well as school directors, receive a visual overview of the number of visits, the students’ wellbeing, and where input from student-health staff is needed the most.
With Allbry, the student-health team can work both physically and digitally. With the simple press of a button, the students can book times with the student-health team and conduct meetings via chatrooms, video calls, or voice calls — whatever suits the student best.
Allbry’s vision is to create a complete and easily accessible student health service.
About The Inner Foundation
The global social crisis is fundamental and requires a radical shift. The Inner Foundation (founded by Annika Sten Pärson and Pär-Jörgen Pärson) invests in both for profit and non-profit organizations that are ready to scale to improve the inner health for the many and strengthen inclusiveness, equity and diversity in society – uniting public, private and non-profit efforts to make sustainable human development happen.
We are witnessing a large gap between academic insight, best practice, and street-level action in the field of mental health and DEI. The Inner Foundation was created as a significant force for good – equal parts impact investor, grant giver, and thought leader. We consider ourselves part empowerers, part activists. We recognize the complexity and still, we aim for solutions that are simple, doable, and powerful. We set out to build an ecosystem of positive change agents with people and organizations that share our philosophy and theory of change. There are thousands of innovative solutions out there that carry the potential for counteracting the problems of loneliness, loss of direction, exclusion, and lack of diversity. Debilitating issues that are not getting addressed for real. We won’t rest until that happens.
