We offer both options depending on how the project or organization is structured.

Yes!

We and our network of experts are able to offer guidance throughout the funding period, but finding scalable solutions and how to execute them are left primarily to the organisations that we choose to fund.

We would highly encourage a joint application as it proves collaboration between organisations.

We do not initially require a detailed budget as long as you are able to justify the need for the funding amount applied for. We will ask for more details once your application has been shortlisted.

For this call, we invite social enterprises that are:

• From Sub-Saharan Africa, Northern America and Europe (outside the Nordic countries).

  • Please note, a separate call targeting the Nordic countries will open later this year

• Targeting the inner health of underserved emerging adults aged 18-30 within the above geographical areas.

  • We recognize the need to improve community based support systems and make them readily available to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorders, and build the necessary psychological resources to thrive in a complex world. This means that we will look for a variety of solutions.

• Focusing on innovative solutions and have community-based knowledge.

• Providing evidence that it is up and running and having a track record for impact.

• Desiring to scale or replicate in other parts of their current operating area or do an innovative pilot program.

18-30 years old

A pilot should involve an idea or a concept that is proven to work and has the ability to have practical applications. It should also be scalable and sustainable.

Our partnerships begin with a one year commitment, but in most cases are extended with a few years. But this will be subject to an annual audit process.

In a few cases, we can follow you for a longer period of time as you improve your impact and offer support in other communities.

The size of the grant varies depending on your needs, but usually range between €25,000 to €225,000 per year.

We don't finance anything entirely ourselves, make sure you define your needs in your application together with who the other funders are.

If you are one of the shortlisted candidates, we will later ask for a budget and a more detailed plan for how you will spend the money.

We believe that having just one funder makes an organization more exposed and vulnerable. The stability that two, three or more funders offer is valuable both for starts-ups and well-established organizations.

We are looking at approving a maximum of 10 grants per year but this will all depend on the size of each grant.
