The inside scoop
How do you offer funding?
We trust that you understand your organization’s needs best. And also recognize that entrepreneurship can take many forms, requiring different types of funding support. To meet these diverse needs, we offer two application tracks: our grant and equity investments
Who is suitable for our equity investments?
We back founders building bold, scalable solutions that strengthen mental well-being and drive lasting change. You’re a fit if you’re an early-stage company with a strong team, a clear pathway to impact, and a business model designed for growth. We invest where we see mission and market potential align — and where our capital and ecosystem can help you go further, faster.
What non-financial support do you offer and how much is The Inner Foundation involved in shaping the solution?
Along our network of experts, we offer guidance throughout the funding period. Finding scalable solutions and figuring out how to execute them are left to you, the brilliant entrepreneurs developing the solutions.
What age group falls under your category of emerging adults?
18-30 years old.
What are you looking for in terms of impact measurement?
Creating meaningful impact in inner health requires time and patience. However, we believe that the ability to measure and monitor the progress qualitatively and quantitatively is essential to guiding and scaling this work. As part of our investment and partnership, we collaborate with you to define impact KPIs. These help us track progress, ensuring that our efforts lead to tangible, long-lasting results where they are most needed.
Do you have to have other investors on board?
We never invest alone. While this might sound limiting, it’s a key part of our approach. As an independent foundation, we focus on catalyzing investment by co-investing alongside other partners rather than leading rounds. This allows us to pool resources, maximize network effects, and amplify impact — driving funding and sustainable growth in the inner health space
Hmm, not exactly…
Looking for funding or collaboration in the inner health of emerging adults, but not aligning with the focus of our equity investment? Explore our other application tracks.

Grant investment
Have a bold idea to transform the inner health of emerging adults? Our annual Open Call provides unrestricted, multi-year grants to help early-stage solutions grow and take root. Whether applications are currently open or not, we’d love to hear from you.

Collaboratorion
Looking to collaborate to transform inner health? We work with ecosystem enablers, funders, co-investors, and research partners to unlock collective potential. If you’re building capacity, mobilizing capital, or driving systemic change, we’d love to connect.
